Free Services for pet owners:
- Pet Adoption Services will take in pets of owners who, due to varying circumstances, must find new homes for their pets. Unfortunatly, PAS will not be able to accept every pet due to foster home space and availability.
- Pet Adoption Services will not operate a kennel facility but instead will utilize volunteer foster homes where adoptable pets will be loved and cared for while they wait to be adopted.
- Pet Adoption Services will list pets with various online searchable pet adoption databases.
- The listing will incorporate input from the pet owner as well as information gained through the Pet Adoption Services’ pet evaluation.
- This online listing will consist of up to three photos and a professional pet biography.
- Pre-screen all prospective adopters. Pet Adoption Services will require all prospective adopters complete a thorough application process which will include a check of both personal and veterinarian references, completed landlord statement when necessary, and perform scheduled onside home visits with prospective adopters when at all possible.
- Provide personalized, one on one service to each pet owner who chooses Pet Adoption Services to rehome their pet.
- Explore alternative placement options, through rescue groups and other organizations, for pets that are not adopted.
No fee will be charged for ANY of these services.
